The Harris Foundation
The Harris Foundation plays a primary role in Harris Corporation's philanthropic activities. Quality education, with an emphasis on math and science, is Harris Corporation's primary philanthropic platform. In non-educational fields, the Foundation gives priority to requests from local community organizations that serve the health, welfare, civic and cultural needs of Harris employees and families.

To support our employees in their contributions to worthy causes, we offer the Harris Aid-to-Education and Harris Community Gift Matching Programs. These programs allow employees to multiply their contributions, providing organizations with additional funding.

United Way
Harris Corporation has only one annual solicitation for funds to our employees and that is for the United Way. We focus our attention on this one organization because it provides a broad distribution of services through many individual agencies. We work hard to improve our communities and the United Way makes that possible.

Community Involvement
Harris employees around the world are actively engaged in our communities – involved in everything from food drives and homeless shelters, to fundraisers for medical research, to environmental projects that enhance our public spaces. We believe the leadership and teamwork skills learned through community involvement are priceless training for the business world. We also encourage our employees to participate in leadership roles for organizations, a philosophy that begins with our Senior Management Team and continues through all levels of the Corporation.

Retirees' Association
The Harris Retirees' Association was established to foster interest and participation in all retirees' activities and to maintain communication with the company on benefits and policy changes. The Association offers retirees an opportunity to renew old friendships as well as establish new ones.
