General Information

The MODIS/VIIRS Science Team Meeting will be held May 13-16, 2008 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport in Linthicum, MD. The hotel is located at 1739 West Nursery Road. A draft agenda will be available at a later date and will be posted on this web site.

Registration

Meeting check-in will be held each morning of the meeting beginning at 7:00 a.m. The pre-registration cutoff is Monday, May 5, 2008.

Meals

Breaks will be provided each day of the conference. A working lunch will be provided on Wed., May 14th Thurs., May 15th and Fri., May 16th.

Allowable Government Per Diem

The per diem rates for the Linthicum, MD area are $123 for lodging and $64 for M&IE. On travel days, you will receive 75% of the meal per diem, which works out to be $48. To receive any per diem, you must be on travel for at least 12 hours.
