The AMS Past, Present and Future: Linking Information to Knowledge to Society (LINKS)

The AMS Annual Meeting is the world’s largest yearly gathering for the weather, water, and climate community. It brings together great minds from a diverse set of scientific disciplines – helping attendees make career-long professional contact and life-long friends while learning from the very top people in the atmospheric sciences.

L3Harris will highlight decades of leadership in weather technology and partnership with NOAA and other agencies around the world. Today, next-generation sensors are deployed on the GOES-R series of satellites as well as Himawari-8 and -9 over Japan and the GEO-KOMPSAT-2A over Korea. The GOES-R Ground Segment connects GOES-East and GOES-West to Earth, processes all the data and delivers the information and products to users and forecasters worldwide.

Among the technologies L3Harris will feature are:

Advanced Baseline Imager Solutions

GOES-R Series Ground Segment and Antenna Segment

Cross-track Infrared Sounder

Helios Real-time Ground Weather Intelligence

HyperCube 3D Wind Measurement
