Dennis C. Moran
Dennis C. Moran is the vice president of DoD Business Development within Harris Corporation’s Global Business Development organization. Global Business Development is designed to drive top-line growth, leverage complementary channels and capture large, multi-year domestic and international opportunities for Harris.
Moran reports to the senior vice president of Global Business Development. He is responsible for managing Harris’ strategic engagement across DoD. This strategic engagement allows Harris to better understand its customers and to match Harris’ capabilities to customers’ needs.
Prior to this, Moran was the vice president for Government Business Development in Harris’ Communication Systems Segment. Before that assignment he was the senior executive account manager (SEAM) and vice president of the Department of Defense programs, Defense Communications and Electronics (DCE).
Prior to joining Harris, Moran served 31 years in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of Major General. His final assignment was Vice Director for Command, Control, Communications and Computers (J6) on the Joint Staff.
Moran holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.
He is an active member of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
