Russell Petrucci has been in the piezoelectric and optical materials field since 1983. He started his career as a medical ultrasound and industrial non-destructive testing transducer designer and then moved to process engineering before utilizing his transducer design and materials processing knowledge as a product manager in 1988. Russ has been in business development for 23 years and has worked in the areas of product development, customer relations and market identification for several well-known piezoelectric manufacturing companies. He has an Associates of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Springfield Technical Community College and has completed continuing education classes in marketing, transducer engineering and several computer languages. He has contributed articles to Sensors Magazine in Sept, 1991 and May, 1994, Medical Device Technology Magazine, Oct, 2014 and Sensors Online Magazine, May, 2015 and is also a contributor to the book “An Introduction to Scanning Tunneling Microscopy” by Julian Chen, published by Oxford Press, 1993. He also coached youth baseball and basketball for 14 years, in his community.
