Harris Names Chester A. Massari To Head Its Broadcast Division

MELBOURNE, FL/QUINCY, IL -- Harris Corporation has named Chester A. Massari vice president-general manager of the company's Broadcast Division in Quincy, Illinois, effective September 1. He will replace Joe Huie, 64, who is retiring after a 30-year career with Harris.

Mr. Massari, 53, previously was vice president of operations for Harris' RF Communications Division in Rochester, New York. Mr. Massari joined Harris RF Communications in 1970 as a principal engineer. During the next 25 years, he held a series of management positions of increasing responsibility including senior engineering manager and vice president of engineering. He was named vice president of operations in 1992.

Prior to joining Harris, he worked as a senior engineer with General Dynamics.

Mr. Massari holds a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
