Armed Forces of the Philippines Awards Harris Corporation a $18 Million Order for Falcon III Radios and Vehicular Communications Systems
- Supplies radios for next phase of mission-critical communications and internal security network

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 19, 2014 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), has been awarded a $18 million initial order to provide the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) with Harris Falcon III® tactical vehicular radios and intercom systems. The Philippine Army will acquire the radios for its tactical communications modernization program. The order was received during the first quarter of fiscal 2015.
Harris will modernize the Light Armored Division of the Philippine Army with the latest Falcon RF-7800V Combat Net Radio integrated into the RF-7800I Intercom Systems. This comprehensive solution for in-vehicle voice and data communications delivers secure tactical network connectivity.
